Closing Bell: Market deep in red; Nifty below 22,250, Sensex tanks 1045 pts
Biggest Nifty lowers were Adani Enterprises, JSW Steel, Max Healthcare, ITC and Interglobe Aviation, while gainers included Infosys, Axis Bank and HCL Tech. All sectoral indices ended in the red with Auto, Energy, FMCG, Infra, Media, Metal, Oil & Gas, Pharma, Realty down 2-3%. The Nifty midcap and smallcap indices shed more than 2 percent each.
