Earlier this month, the condom-maker announced the second increase in profit and revenue guidance in less than two weeks, with the company now expecting to post a revenue of Rs 800 crore and net profit of Rs 250 crore in the ongoing financial year 2027.
Cupid continues to witness strong business momentum in FY27, with Q2 FY27 total revenue expected to cross Rs 200 crore. It added that the FY27 guidance was raised due to sustained momentum across its key business verticals and improved visibility across domestic and international markets.
The FY27 outlook has been revised upward, supported by strong Q2 FY27 business momentum expected to continue and grow through Q3 and Q4 FY27, improved visibility across institutional and private markets, continued expansion of the domestic FMCG business, progress towards imminent operationalisation of the Palava facility, and sustained growth across the Company's healthcare, and personal care portfolio, Cupid said.
Looking ahead, Cupid expects to scale domestic FMCG distribution to deepen Cupid's presence across modern trade, general trade and pharmacy channels. It also plans to operationalise its Palava manufacturing facility to enhance production capacity, flexibility and supply capabilities across domestic and international markets. Expansion of healthcare and personal care portfolio through new products, regulatory approvals and wider commercialisation opportunities are also on the cards.
Cupid also aims to strengthen its international healthcare business by expanding institutional, government and private-market opportunities across geographies, as well as build regional manufacturing platforms through the proposed South African venture, creating a potential base for wider international market expansion. It also plans to explore strategic healthcare opportunities through partnerships and investments that complement Cupid's healthcare and personal care ecosystem.
